Deb Deady Ransom UMC Member October 14, 2015
Heaven has received a dedicated faithful servant of the Lord!  How I enjoyed having Pastor White & Esther as our Pastor.  And, how they both loved the Lord! What a passion Pastor had to do everything he could to make sure folks knew the Lord personally and that they knew they were going to Heaven.  Pastor took the Gospel message outside the church walls, and cared about our entire community.

I learned so much working alongside him on the Missions Team at the Ransom UMC.

Pastor & Esther were simple people.  They never needed the flashy trappings of this world. Pastor walked to church, and I was so pleased to see one of the pictures in the selection included him in his overcoat & hat.  How Pastor loved sports and supported all the local teams, going to so many games of our young folk.

My prayers, thoughts and well wishes go to dear Esther and the entire White family.

I just contacted Rev. White about three or four months ago because I saw his name in one of the retired magazine type things from the UMC.  I wanted to ask if he was the same Paul White that my parents, Rev. and Mrs. Charles Young knew when I was a young girl growing up in the Nazarene Church.  Sure enough he was the one.  I can remember Daddy holding a revival for him and his church and mom and I went a few times.  I remember them having quite a few babies up through maybe five or six years old at the time.  I don't know how his wife took care of them all as they seemed like stairsteps in age...  I remember going to their place after church just to visit a short time.  They were a very nice couple and mom and dad sure liked them very much.  Thank you for having Daddy preach at your church.  He loved preaching and you and your husband were very nice and welcoming to us.  May God bless you and keep you.  I lost my mother, Helen Young Rode, in March of this year and four months later I lost my pastor husband, Bill, to a sudden heart attack.  I will try and keep in contact with you but just guessing, I am sure you have family closeby.  God bless you and yours for all you have done through the years for the Lord.
Jeff Starks Getting to know Pastor Paul White October 12, 2015
I remember when I started to date Pastor White's oldest daughter Cindy. Getting to know Pastor White was easier than I thought it would be. He loved and accepted me from the very begining. He developed into one of my best friends over the years and I felt as though I could talk to him about anything. I asked him if I could marry Cindy and he not only approved, but married us in June of 1981. I enjoyed the sporting events we were able to attend together and the many conversations we had. He was and remains a tremendous spiritual influence in my life and will miss him very much.
