F. Perez My deepest condolences October 9, 2018

Can something good be said about death?

It Separates friends, families and sows pain, grief and sadness.

The Bible says that death is our great enemy.

However, the Bible also gives us hope!

John 5: 28, 29 as well as Acts 24:15; indicate that there will be a resurrection of the just and unjust.

Psalm 37:29 also promises that the righteous will possess the Earth.

Through the pages of the Bible we can acquire knowledge and guidance that help us face the loss of our loved ones…It gives us a sure hope.

Cecilia Borurguet My deepest condolence December 17, 2015
My condolences, as feelings of pain and bitterness become unbearable. It is my desire to convey a comforting thought based on the Holy Scriptures

John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."

This passage speaks of the resurrection of our loved ones. It is not God's plan to see us suffer and die, so He extends the following invitation to us: "Come near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8)

Howard Sallee Pastor October 13, 2015
I haven't seen Paul in a few years, but when we were both pastoring in the same district, we had several great conversations.  I counted him as a friend then and am saddened that he is no longer here among us.
I count it an honor that I knew Paul and shared some great times with him.

God bless and comfort you all.
John Woodruff Conference Treassurer October 13, 2015
I remember Paul because of the annual tax-time visit he made to my office.  We mostly just talked, with an ocassional reference to taxes.  His visit was always anticipated and welcomed.
Jim Crothers My Last Conversation October 11, 2015
I talked to Rev. White just last week.  I reached out to Cindy on facebook after I saw a picture of him in the hospital.   It was a short visit on the phone but one that I will remember with great fondness.  We talked about family and I gave him the short story version of my life.  His last words to me were this: "Jim, stay true to Jesus ".  I made a commitment to stay true to Jesus as a teenager at Hart Avenue Nazarene Church and
I continually make that commitment today.

Thank you Rev. White for your love for youth at Hart Avenue and your commitment to the youth program at Bentlyville Camp.  I remember clearly the many that were called into pastoral ministry.

You are a man who has left a legacy one that has out lived you. Surly the words "Well done they good and faithful servent" are words fitting for a man like you.

Love your friend,

Jim Crothers
